Exhibition Co-designer & Tour Coordinator

The first edition of the UK Design for Performance at the V&A Museum, London contained delicate skeletal frames. A contemporary take on the traditional glass vitrine. The free-standing cabinets can extend and inhabit other gallery spaces throughout the museum, encouraging the viewer on a journey of discovery. The exhibition attempts to display the thought and design process of the designer. There are no concealed elements. All cables, models, lights and fixings are on display. Giving you a glimpse into the process, of not just the exhibitors, but also the exhibit itself.

Designing for this project taught me how to adapt to a variety of environments and gave me a unique understanding of curation and the importance of order and selection. The exhibition lived on at other galleries across the UK, testing my ability to collaborate, negotiate and co-ordinate the design, delivery, and installation of each interpretation to reflect the situation.
